When ships stop at the Casual, everyone drops their inhibitions and has a good time, even Starfleet's finest senior officers. Here Commander Jon Thomas experiences the rarely seen "Betazed Table Dance". Most often performed by Betazed women in the throes of the "Stage", Commander Thomas was prevailed upon for his opinion on the performance by a guest of the Casual. After viewing the entire 2-hour ritual, he related his critique to the Casual Observer. "Overall, it was well thought out and very interesting. The music and the choreography were excellent as was the dancer. However, as for sheer technical expertise, the Betazeds have nothing on the entertainers on board the Casual. Our dancers could teach them a thing or two." There are unconfirmed rumors that Commander Thomas and his Yo!Woman! Daphne took pity on the poor woman who was devastated by the Commander's criticism. Sources report that they took her back to their quarter for "counseling" and a series of "private lessons". This reporter would like to commend Jon & Daphne for their concern and their efforts to raise the standard for exotic entertainers.

The Casual seems to attract Temporal Anomalies like an abandoned beer truck attracts the Party Marines: there is always one hanging around close by. In a recently resolved event, Commodores Erickson and Sulleven were mysteriously transported back in time over 80 years. Being more than familiar with the Starfleet protocols of the time (since they both served with Starfleet back before the Casual fell through the Wormhole) and possessing technology far in advance of what was standard issue, they were able to pass themselves off as officers from the Special Operations branch. They traveled on board the USS Enterprise-A for a time, acting as "observers", until the hyper-observant XO of the Enterprise deduced their true identities. With the help of the command staff, the Commodores were able to return to the present.

The whole incident was placed in a sealed report in the offices of the Bureau of Temporal Investigations to be examined in the proper time. Our time-tripping Commodores misled the crew into believing that they came from the 26the century, delaying the inquest the BTI is no doubt planning to launch by at least 50 years.
